Stepping Up: Working With a Global Beauty Company To Select and Implement New Marketing Technology

The Problem

A global beauty company with more than 30 brands under management in the U.S. wanted to select a new CRM platform with tools that would allow it to provide data-driven personalization for its North American brands. 


Our Approach

As part of the engagement, Winterberry Group provided support during the development of the system architecture and process roadmap. We worked with the company to draft and release the RFP, then helped manage the process of vendor selection. We oversaw vendor workshops, discovery sessions, pricing and KPI development. We also provided a comparative analysis of campaign management and personalization tools and provided pricing analysis throughout the negotiation process.


The Results

The beauty company successfully moved from RFP to final vendor selection with a scalable, modular, flexible platform that was within budget and included a cloud-based CRM database, real-time data store, analytics environment, DMP integration and campaign management and personalization tools.
