In this episode hosted by Andrew Davidson, SVP/Chief Insights Officer at Mintel Comperemedia, Bruce discussed the latest Outlook for Advertising, Marketing and Data, Winterberry Group’s annual report that provides spending forecasts and reviews of trends shaping the U.S. advertising and marketing industry. Per the report, research found that in 2021, the advertising and marketing sector had its strongest year in the last decade, snapping back from the global pandemic in 2020 and constraints imposed by supply chain and talent issues.
In addition to discussing where the industry is headed in 2022 and what marketers should be on the lookout for, channel spend and the shifting consumer relationship with various marketing channels was also a topic of discussion.
